How do I reserve seats?

You can reserve a seat online at www.almostheaventours.com. A payment for the full amount or a deposit is required to reserve seats, see specific Tour details for more information.

Are children allowed on your Tours?

All our Tours are family friendly and we welcome children 2 years and older. All passengers, including children, must reserve a seat. Children age 16 and under must be always accompanied by an adult.

Do you offer payment plans?

We offer payment plans directly through our online booking, for Tours $500 or more per person. When using payment plans, you will receive a confirmation email at the time of reservation; however, your ticket will not be available until full payment has been made. Deadline for the final payment varies per Tour, see specific Tour details for more information. For payment plans for Tours less than $500 per person, contact us at (304)906-1181.

Where are the pick-up/drop-off locations?

Pick-up/Drop-off locations vary per Tour, see specific Tour details for more information. Main Location are Kingwood, Morgantown, Clarksburg and Weston WV, and Waynesburg and Uniontown PA.

Do you offer Travel Insurance?

We don’t offer Travel Insurance but strongly recommend it. We have partnered with Trawick International, who offers Travel Insurance. Visit here for more information.

Insurance is entirely separate from Almost Heaven Tours and costs additional.  You should have adequate travel, baggage, accident, cancellation, and sickness insurance. You must insure 100 % of the Tour or the insurance will be void. Make sure to read the policy thoroughly before purchasing.

Can I get a copy of the Tour itinerary?

Absolutely! Tour Itineraries are available for download in the specific Tour details sections of our website. The Tour Guide will also have printed copies of the Tour Itinerary available the day of the Tour. If you would like to receive a printed copy via mail ahead of the trip, contact us at (304)906-1181. 

When does boarding start?

Boarding begins up to 15 minutes before departure time.  If you are not there at the departure time, we reserve the right to offer your seat to another passenger and/or depart without you. The amount you paid will not be refunded. 

How does the seating work on a motor coach?

We don't assign seat numbers, so you can take any available seat on the bus. However, upon request we do reserve the front row seats for customers with disabilities.

Can I leave items on the motor coach while on the tour?

Yes, you may leave items on the motor coach while on a tour at your own discretion. Almost Heaven Tours is not responsible for stolen or lost items. 

How often does the motor coach stop?

Number and duration of stops depend on the length and type of Tour, but we typically do a rest stop every 2-3 hours. The driver and Tour Director are authorized to add a stop at any time by their sole discretion. Also note the Motor Coach does have a bathroom. 

What can I bring on the motor coach?

Each passenger is allowed one carry-on bag on board as long as it fits in the shared overhead compartment and one cooler to be stored under the bus. For multi day Tours each passenger is also allowed one suitcase to be stored under the bus. We recommend bringing a pillow, blanket, and phone charger, since the motor coach has power outlets. You are also welcome to bring snacks. If you are sensitive to noise or lighting, we suggest you bring earplugs and a sleep mask. 

What happens if the tour is delayed or disrupted?

We do our best to ensure the Tours go as planned but circumstances out of our control may arise that could cause a delay in our arrival time or our return home. Almost Heaven Tours cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses or damages.

What is the Covid-19 policy?

Almost Heaven Tours follows the guidelines put in place by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and we ask that our travelers do as well.  Almost Heaven Tours will not ask for your vaccination status or require you to show proof. However, note that some of our travel destinations do require vaccination and or the use of face masks, so please do your own research. Feel free to ask us and we will gladly share the information we have at the time of booking. Keep watch for any new updates due to ever-changing requirements. 

Almost Heaven Tours cannot prevent you or your group from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while traveling with Almost Heaven Tours. We do everything possible to keep the motor coach cleaned & sanitized during & in-between times of travel as recommended by the CDC.

What is the cancellation policy, terms and conditions?

Bookings for Tours are non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded. Tours require a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

What form of payment do you accept?

Almost Heaven Tours accepts a variety of payment methods directly through our online booking; you can call to make a payment using any major debit or credit card; or mail a check to 2359 Railroad Street, Suite 2601, Pittsburgh PA 15222.
