Peach Festival at Peddler’s Village & Longwood Gardens
Overview:
Peddler’s Village is a storybook village with charming colonial-style buildings, award-winning gardens. Find clothing, accessories, home goods, specialty foods, art, gifts, and more in 60+ shops and specialty boutiques. The Peach Festival is a peach lover’s paradise with plenty of peachy treats, live entertainment, and scenic strolls through Peddler’s Village summer gardens (with sand sculptures!). There will be a variety of peach-themed food and desserts, too. You can buy fresh, local peaches, peach pies from the Village General Store, peach cupcakes and other baked goods from The Lucky Cupcake Company. The restaurants throughout the Village will also be offering peach-inspired food and drink specials. The Festival will feature live music and performances from a bunch of area and national musicians. o Pre-order a full-size freshly baked peach pie,that will be boxed & brought to the bus for the return home. During the first day, on route to the Village, we will visit one of the world’s great gardens, Longwood’s Gardens, whose story is one of legacy, innovation, and stewardship. Spanning more than 1,100 acres, the Gardens showcase horticultural splendor, intricate fountain systems, architectural grandeur, and so much more. in the Brandywine Creek Valley of Kennett Square, PA.
During the third day, on route from the Village we will visit Hershey’s Chocolate World. Free time to experience the Hershey’s Chocolate Tour to create your own, one-of-a-kind, candy bar, and shop Hershey-branded gifts and souvenirs. Delight yourself with their world-famous milkshakes and bakery treats at the World’s Largest Hershey’s Store.
